Eyebrow Tinting and Other Stuff for Newbies, What’s all the Hype?

Eyebrow wax and tint

Do you look in the mirror and want more confidence in the brows looking back at you?  I bet it’s safe to say that we all have those days where we just want to feel better about a face feature!  Do you wish you could spend less time working with make-up trying to get the look you want?  Sometimes products just don’t cut it.  What if you could do something that would emphasize your entire eye area?  Eyebrow tinting could be just the answer for you!

There’s no shortage of options out there for better brows.  From eyebrow tweezing to eyebrow threading to eyebrow waxing, rest assured that there’s something perfect just for you in order to bring all the good attention to your eyes and, more importantly, make YOU feel good about them!  For a quick run down of the previous mentioned better brow techniques: tweezing pulls hair one at a time from the root, threading wraps a string around hairs to also pull a single piece at a time, and waxing is similar but a strip of wax pulls all stray hairs at once.  While all these options are good for getting the right look, they can be painful.  No pain, no gain, right?  Well, not always!  There are so many options, which to choose?

You may be wondering what all the hype of eyebrow tinting is about and if it’s a good choice for you.  There are several factors which make tinting a top pick.  It is very temporary (a few weeks to a month) unlike microblading (upwards to a year or more) and not painful like eyebrow waxing, threading and tweezing is known to be.  Tinting keeps you safe from any pain, as it is simply dye applied to your brow hair.  And, don’t fret, this will not dye your skin!  Eyebrow tinting can be great if you already have fairly cooperative brows that you want to give a boost.  By that, I mean that tinting won’t help areas lacking any hair but it will darken light hairs.  Eyebrow tinting will give the brows you already have a fuller look and a shape you prefer by expanding your arches, lengthening your brows, and providing volume.  You heard right, the process is fairly simple and can work wonderfully for most skin types and hair colors.  Before you know it, you will leave in no time feeling brand new.  Tinting could be just what a brow beginner needs!

Well, what about the upkeep?  It’s not so bad!  Allow the dye to settle by not wetting brows and avoiding a lot of touch to the brow for the day following tinting .  Use a gentle, oil-free cleanser to wash around your eyes.  And for some good news, since the tint will merely fade overtime, you don’t have to face the trouble of a chaotic grow out phase.  This is also a plus if you feel your brows are too dark after tinting.  They will be darkest at the beginning but this is good because it gives them a good phase out period.

Now that you’re no longer a total brow newbie, here’s a quick overview of your new info.  There are tons of options to get spectacular looking brows!  If you have okay brows that you’d just like a little help with, tinting is likely your answer!  Tinting is a temporary, painless, and simple process.  What are you waiting for?  Get ready to adore those brows!
